Text of the ad: Does your family have these breakfast problems? Does Junior get up with no appetite... and dawdle over his food? Does Dad rush off to work with only a cup of coffee and a bun to sustain him? Does Sister skip breakfast entirely... to keep a trim figure? The success or failure of your day often depends on the breakfast that starts it. In the morning, you need a well-balanced meal to renew your energy. Otherwise, you'll almost surely feel tired or irritable by mid-morning.

How much breakfast should you eat? Enough to supply at least one-quarter of your total food needs for the day. Your breakfast should include fruit in some form; bread made from whole grain or enriched flour; cereal, eggs, meat or fish; and milk to drink or to use on cereal. Such a breakfast (with other things you like including coffee or tea) should be eaten by everyone in the family. Try it for a while. Chances are you'll notice how much more energy you have, and how much better you'll feel around 11 o'clock than you did before.

Even if you're on a reducing diet, don't skip breakfast. Without it, you're likely to overeat at lunch or dinner. And that can wreck a reducing program. All of us, overweight or normal, should take time for a substantial, unhurried breakfast. It's a fine way to help your family to better health.

The text of the ad: "Milk - Nature's Snack" "One at noon, one at night, One along the way... You never outgrow your need for Milk, Drink three glasses every day!"
The three small images are labeled "Nature's Lift" "Nature's Snack" and "Nature's Nightcap".
Under that: "American Dairy Association" "Representing the dairy farmers in your area"

The artwork is signed by Mandel. It is a guess, but this may be Saul Mandel (here).
