Newport News High School (in Virginia) - February Class 1918 - Commencement program (pamphlet/booklet)

This very small program (4 1/2" x 5 1/2") is in very delicate condition. The cover, made of a very stiff paper (parchment?) split upon opening. The split is clean down the spine; it is possible it could be repaired, but that's not my job. Holding the program together are entwined threads in the class colors of maroon and gold.

It's time to get this site back up and and running...

and that's not turning out to be easy. In fact, if it was just me - without any help - we'd just give up and revert to the old layout. Thankfully, the DH is smart and has been willing to spend time playing with it. There are still a couple weird little bugs. Like... hover over a link on the light purple bar. See a problem? Yeah, well, I've never been one to waste time being color-coordinated.

As for content, that's a whole 'nother barrel of monkeys. I'm on it, I'm on it! Check back often. At the very least, you can laugh at me while I work.
